Reflection

Time flies so fast. Fourth Grading has now ended. I don’t know what will happen next. But, I’m now herishing every moment with my Classmates, Friends, Adings, Love Ones, and of course to my BARKADA or I’ll just simply say my GIRL FRIENDS.  Who made my High School Life memorableand more meaningful.
I just want you to know that I really enjoyed this School Year. Most specially in my ICT IV Subject. Our last topic and lesson was the Adobe Photoshop. Basically, on how to edit pictures. I really like it! This is so amazing! Actually, this is my favorite lesson learned.
After all, I would like to thank Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz, my ICT Subject Teacher and to Miss Daisy, my Practice Tacher. Thank you for those learnings and good characters you have shown to us, for being a good model. I’ll never forget those Happiness, Moments, Laughters, and even in Loneliness. I’ll treasure those little things a lot.

So, Goodbye ISNHS!! Thanks for being my second home. AIM HIGH, FLY, SOAR ILOCOS SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

My Dream, My Future

When I was a child, my teachers and parents said to me, ‘people who have no dreams of the future will not fly far away’. Because of those inspiring words from my parents and teachers, I tried to make inspired by to be a chef.
I am studying the simple cooks first and next started a complex type of cooking. I can improve my cooking skill by just trying to start cooking something small like fried rice ect. I want to study how to cook properly and hygiene management  and try to apply it

In the future I want to be a famous chef as I can cook many delicious dishes for my family and my friends and they are very happy to eat my cooking. On the other hand, I would like to be a computer expert that can fix and repair computers like an expert. Also I would like to open up a computer service shop in the future. I like my dreams because now day technologies are getting tougher and later on only some people that can fix computer technologies in the future. That’s why I try to catch up to study the technologies now days so in the future I might help people who are in need of a computer expert. I will also try to stay on my studies now so I can still graduate on high school. I still don’t know which one I should choose to my future but I choose to be an computer expert still cause I like to break things up to see what’s in it cause I’m always curious what drives that thing to make it work for example the programs for a laptop. Sometimes when I open up a electronic , I can’t reassemble them again. HAHAHA! So I studied first from my cousin who opened up a computer shop in bogor. Sometimes I followed him to the shop so I can see what is in the computers disk are like , and I also like to help him to repair a CPU cause I’m curious remember. I try to fix it with my cousin watching my every step I’m doing , if I do something wrong he will ask me to stop and he will explain to me how to do it.

Changes Starts With Me

Photo
Be the change that you wish to see in the world.
There is much talk in the spiritual communities about how the world that I see outside of myself is a reflection of the world that is inside me. Part of the journey to peace, love, and happiness, is understanding that I am not always able to recognise my part in the creation of my life. Our perceptions of the world are in fact what dictate what we see unfold in front of us. So, it follows that if my perception is that the world is a frightening place to be, I will live in fear. I will see events that keep occurring that will justify my fear, because I unconsciously look at the world through filters that seek out what I believe. I need to learn to not be scared. If I am an angry person, I will attract to myself a world where other people, places and things make me angry and will be angry at me. I need to learn to find out why I am angry and process my anger, and as I do so, I will see that the world outside of me becomes less angry. If I am full of love, and believe that the world is a safe and happy place to be, then the environment around me will be full of loving people and events.
Begin to unravel what your values are. What you are passionate about? What makes your heart sing? What do you aspire to be? What is your authentic truth? This will be different for everyone. There really only is one you on the planet and you have been given gifts and talents to help you to be the best you that you can be. You can discover that other people may not necessarily value what you hold dear to the same degree as you do. You begin to learn that you do not need other peoples' approval because you are living in integrity with your own truth.  Would you like it to be filled with peace, love, and  joy? The choice is yours, as is the journey.

Kannawidan Festival

VIGAN CITY, Feb. 20 (PIA) -- The Kannawidan Ylocos Festival on January 29 to February 5, 2012 drew local and foreign tourists as more entertaining events had been included in the celebrations. Now on its 5th year, the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival had already established its identity as the prime festival of the province. The festival was launched in 2008 under the leadership of then Governor Deogracias Victor B. Savellano to commemorate the 190th foundation day of Ilocos Sur as separate province through the approval of a Spanish Royal Decree on February 2, 1818.
Through this Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, we are preserving and sustaining our old traditions, attractive products and practices as we are also promoting our tourism industry.
But,  through  our Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, these traditions, customs and cultures are revived to become more entertaining to give more fun and attractions to the visiting tourists in the province.

According to Governor Luis Chavit Singson, the province has a rich heritage and unique cultures that need to be preserved for the next generations. However, many of these traditions, songs, dances and other Ilocano cultures were not already familiar to the younger generations due to the influence of the television, computer and internet.

New Year, New Me!

Every year, life gives you a chance for a new life, a new way tolive your life. The sense of celebrating New Year is to leave all your mental stress, your negative emotions, your past histories and everything that makes you unhappy behind, so that you can become a new person with a new life.

New Year does not mean that something finishes, but that something new starts, like a small birth. The New Year celebration brings you new energy and a positive mind, which is the essence of the New Year. The New Year can make you into a new person who lives his/her life in a new way. The gift of the New Year is the opportunity for a complete new birth.

To receive the chance for
change you have to promise yourself to discipline yourself. Whatever you promise yourself needs to be combined with discipline; otherwise, you just go back into your old structures. With discipline, your promises can become real. One discipline can help and save you in many difficult situations in your life.
If you really want a new life, you need
discipline.

Climate Change

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of  weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions ( more or fewer extreme weather events). Climate change is caused by factors such as biotic processes, variations in solar radiation received by Earth, platetectonics, and volcanic eruptions. Certain human activities have also been identified as significant causes of recent climate change, often referred to as global warming.
The most general definition of climate change is a change in the statistical properties of the climate system when considered over long periods of time, regardless of cause. Accordingly, fluctuations over periods shorter than a few decades, such as El Nino, do not represent climate change.

Without the unity in global politics world doesn't stand the chance against climate change. Hopefully, world leaders will realize this before it's too late. Though as some say world could already be too late to do something about it.

Christmas Season

CHRISTMAS is the most awaited season for Filipinos. Many of Filipinos look forward to non- working holidays family reunions and gift-giving. But Filipinos’ ways on celebrating Christmas is sometimes funny. Christmas is celebrated during December but Filipinos celebrate this way too long.
As early as September, houses are already painted with Christmas décors and sometimes families would not remove it until March. It is somehow a bit unusual that Christmas decors are present during  Halloween-trick-or-treats.
That’s a Filipino way of saying “hello ber-months it’s Christmas time!”

Love is also tagged during this season. Some Filipinos would race to have a  lelifeovduring Christmas. Some would do everything to have a special someone in their lives. One reason for this is for them to receive a  gift for Christmas or not to be a part of the “Samahan ng Malalamig ang Pasko” (SMP).

Filipinos are celebrating Christmas with a big smile. We do not frown on Christmas season. We smile amidst all problems and trials.
